Who is Lasersan?

Lasersan is a group of companies that specializes in meeting the needs of a variety of Government and Corporate laboratories and institutions with regards scientific chemical analysis.

Lasersan are proud representatives of "Leading Edge” technology based companies and offer high quality sales and support for these companies throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Lasersan’s main focus is to provide solutions based on a variety of technologies to enhance the chemical analysis experience for analytical laboratories concentrating in the Food, Forensic, Pharmaceutical and Environmental application areas.

Udo Rupprecht - Director
Role: Sales, Support and Management

History:
1977-1988 I was with Waters Associates in various roles from sales, support and management. One of my highlights was setting up and running the Singapore office for Waters where I was managing sales/service/marketing and administration for the ASEAN region for 2 years. I left Waters from the role of NSW Manager in 1988 to try my hand in our own retail business ie service station which after 2 years I found was much too much work and returned to the scientific field.

1990-1995 I was with firstly Perkin Elmer in a sales role then transferred to Applied Biosystems in the role of Australian Product Manager for LCMS products. In 1996 Lasersan became the sales and support agents for Hewlett Packard, Chemical Analysis group for Qld.

Hobbies: Scientific Instruments and their use, extreme snowmobiling(seems a little out of place in Qld), Fine wines

Bill Eickhoff - Support
Role: Installations and Technical Support

History:
1976 to 1981 Bill was an analyst in chemical production and the environmental laboratory with Dow Chemicals in Germany.
1981 Bill migrated to Sydney, Australia, and until 1987 was an analyst and technical officer in the food industry.
1987 to 1996 Bill was lab supervisor at the School of Science at the University of Western Sydney.
1996 to 2008 Bill became laboratory manager at the Centre for Phytochemistry at Southern Cross University in Lismore. 
Bill has spent most of his working life setting up and maintaining analytical laboratories and instrumentation. Recently he has reduced his hours at the University to be able to work more independently and with Lasersan.

Hobbies: Bill is completing his half finished workshop and studio so he can assist his artist wife with her projects and help friends with alternative energy research. Other than that he likes good music (bit of an audiophile), good food, good art, travelling and working towards a more bohemian lifestyle.
